Tännäs Fishing Week
a perfect fishing holiday for the whole family
The fishing centre of Västra Härjedalen. There are 200 mountain lakes and more than 300 kilometres of flowing water. Accessible fishing spots, hidden mountain lakes and fishing from oak trees.
In the waters around Tännäs and Rogen you will find the famous Tännäsharren as well as trout, perch, whitefish and even char (for the mill walls)

We proudly present Emma Andersson as a speaker during Tännäs Fishing Week. Emma is the angler who spreads both joy and fishing pleasure. She is passionate about attracting more, and especially young women to the sport.
She comes to Tännäs with her recent lecture where, in addition to spreading information and the joy of fishing, she also gives fishing tips and talks about how she has sought and found joy in the experience and not just in catching the biggest and worst fish.

Put & Take-fishing i Tännäskrökets pond
Under spring has rainbow planted out i Tännäskrökets pond, and just right to fishing week opens vi up for fishing!
The fishery happens from Tännäskrökets own boat, or from jetties and trusses round the tarn.
Fishing licence bought i the reception - where you also can rent lifejacket and rod.
You pays sedan by fish you choose that your up.

Härjebryggs Tännäs beer
In double goat oil - developed especially for fishing week!
Malty flavour, easy beska and and clear alcohol content. One robust mountain beer which fits perfect after and day wide the water.

Fishing competition
No fishing week without a fishing competition, to encourage you to discover the whole area, the competition will take place digitally, starting on Monday and awarding prizes on Saturday afternoon.

Angling organisations
During the fishing week, Sportfiskarna organises several exciting and educational activities in Tännäs - for children, young people and adults.
Introduction to fish conservation
Learn how to look after small fishing waters, discover the small animals that live in them and take part in on-the-spot species identification - a fun and educational activity for the whole family.
Time: Thursday and Friday, 10am - 2pm

Legal fishing
Every summer, Sportfiskarna and the municipality of Härjedalen invite young people to go fishing in different parts of the country. During the fishing week, it's Funäsfjällen's turn!
Everyone is welcome - equipment is available to borrow and grilled sausages are served for lunch.
