Tännäs is the centre for fishing in Funäsfjällen. Whether you prefer fly or spin fishing or just fishing from the oak tree, there is something here for you. With the Rogen nature reserve around the corner, we can offer fantastic mountain fishing in both still and flowing water, whether you like fly fishing or any other type of sport fishing. Here you can mountain fish in new crystal clear lakes and streams surrounded by the beautiful mountains every day.
Funäsfjällen is now one of Sweden's largest short fishing areas with over 200 mountain lakes and 30 kilometres of flowing water. Tännäs-Funäsdalens FVO is the largest fishing area in Funäsfjällen, offering as many as 70 licensed sport fishing waters.
Trout, char, grayling, perch, pike or whitefish?
Fish species
The various fishing waters that make up the Tännäs fishing water area contain a number of different fish species, each of which presents a special challenge.
Tännäs is famous for its grayling. The grayling is even so common that it has become Härjedalen's provincial fish. Trout fishing is also very popular and there are also char, whitefish and pike. The lakes around Tännäs, especially Östra and Västra Aborrvickrarna, are known for their unusually large perch.
Smoke your own fish
If your fishing luck is good, you can smoke your own fish in our smoke here at Tännäskröket. There is nothing better than eating your own catch!

Returning Day ? - Fly Fishing Introduction
An introduction to fly fishing with fishing guide Elias Nygren. We go through the equipment, learn about different types of flies and other things you need to know as a beginner. Most of the time is spent practicing casting technique, as it will be more fun if you learn to cast correctly from the start.

Returning Day ? - Fly fishing trip
Fly fishing with Elias Nygren in one of Tännäs Fishing Centre's own waters. Elias adapts the guide to the customer's needs, anyone can participate! Coffee is on the house! Fly fishing rods are available for rent or purchase in the shop.
Meeting at 17.45 in the shop, ending at 22.00.

Join us at Tännäs Fishing Centre and fish in one of our special waters! The Fishing Tour and the Evening Fishing Tour are suitable for beginners. Coffee is on us!
