Experience a unique sauna in the architect-designed lift house of the cable car

The lift station at the top of the cable car has now been given a new lease of life in the form of a sauna, offering a fantastic view. Here you can enjoy a sauna while simultaneously looking out over the Norwegian mountains, and the most well-known peaks of Helags, Sylarna and Funäsfjällen, with Lossen and Tännäs in the foreground. In winter, you can watch the Northern Lights dance over Funäsdalen in the distance.

There is neither hot water nor a shower; cooling off is done by means of a bucket and cold water or snow.

During the winter season, the sauna is bookable during the lift operating hours.

The sauna is wood-fired and overlooks the Tännäskröket lake. Here you can enjoy a relaxing moment by the water - maybe grill a sausage or do some fishing while the sauna is heated to the desired temperature.
