A fireplace and gathering place

In the past, people gathered around the fire to eat and socialise. When the restaurant was named, it was therefore given the name Árran, which means hearth in Northern Sami. Today, Árran is a gathering place to have a coffee, celebrate life with weddings and birthdays or the first turns on the slopes.

With ingredients from Norrland in general and Härjedalen in particular, classic dishes are prepared in a modernist style. Relaxed, genuine, honest, simple, and environmentally conscious. Preferably in close collaboration with local producers such as Härjebrygg, Jillie Ren & Vilt, Bruksvallarnas Rökeri, some pimplers and the occasional hunting dog.
