A TRIP TO THE FALCONRY NEST - IN THE MIDDLE OF MYSKOXELAND

Falkboet is the waffle hut and with light food service on the mountain. The best way to get here is on cross-country skis, by snowmobile or by hitching a ride behind the Fjällbyn caravan. You travel through a magical and animal-rich natural area, which testifies to Rogen's proximity, passing pastures that farmers used in the early 1900s, and then arrive at Falkboet where you can stop and enjoy in the middle of the musk oxen's kingdom.

The trail to Falkboet is about 8 km. From Falkboet you can continue up to Falkhöjden with a lovely view of Rogens nature reserve and towards the three peaks Storvålen, Fiskbäckvålen and Bratteriet.
