Fishing fun for the whole family
Welcome to Tännäs Fishing Week - an inspiring week filled with fishing experiences, activities and workshops for both young and old. There's something for everyone, whether you're a beginner wanting to learn the basics of angling or an experienced angler wanting to discover new places and techniques.
Tännäs is part of Fiskemeckat in Västra Härjedalen, an area that offers rich fishing with as many as 200 mountain lakes and more than 300 kilometres of flowing water. Here you can fish from accessible sites, hidden mountain lakes or directly from a kayak, and enjoy nature up close.
In the waters around Tännäs and Rogen you'll find the famous Tännäs grayling, but also trout, perch, whitefish and even char (in the area around Bruksvallarna). New discoveries and memorable moments await you here.

Taster fishing at Tännäskröket with a guide from Fiskecentrum. The activity is free, fishing permits are purchased at Tännäskröket.

Adult education with Härjedalen fishing – information about the fish and their environments.

Fishing for pleasure in Tännäs. Free children's/youth activity with access to loan equipment. Free lunch.
