Weddings in the mountains are magical
The magnificent nature of Tännäs creates fantastic opportunities for great experiences.
With us, you basically book your very own ski resort for your wedding. The skiing will be a great opportunity for the wedding guests to get to know each other and have fun together and become a close-knit group. The setting and organisation are so unique that guests are likely to experience something they have not experienced before.
Vigil
The wedding can take place in any location you wish, but three good options are:
Tännäs Church - Sweden's highest church
The top of Hemkröket - 1,000 metres above sea level with breathtaking views
Fjälltjärn - at the mirror of our own fjälltjärn between the two mountains
Wedding Dinner & PARTY
The Árran Restaurant has been named by the White Guide as one of the best in the mountain world. We develop our menus based on what the mountain cuisine has to offer. Wedding celebrations after dinner can take place either in the restaurant or in our upstairs party room with seating for 160 guests.
Árran is also a great venue for a wedding reception. There is also room for a live band if you wish.
Wedding Suite
We have a very special wedding suite in the form of a small cabin high up on the mountain. Wake up as a newly married couple 900 m above sea level with a beautiful view of the Norwegian mountains. The cottage has no electricity, heating is provided by the fireplace and candles are used as a light source. Transport to and from the cottage is by snowmobile. Breakfast is delivered at any time in the morning.
Activities
We can organise slalom races and similar activities. Why not let the bride's friends challenge the groom's?
Another nice addition is après-ski in our restaurant. With or without a troubadour. Perhaps with a quiz where guests' knowledge of the bride and groom is tested?
Otherwise, we have Sweden's best snowmobile trails and a cosy sauna cabin that can be enjoyed in couples or larger groups.

Afterski dinner before the wedding or finish with a brunch
If your guests are coming up Thursday-Sunday for your wedding celebration, it can be nice to have a joint dinner the day before the wedding. Then we usually recommend a simpler after-ski buffet for a light and pleasant atmosphere. If you want, it is good to end the stay with a joint brunch before returning home.
