In the past, people gathered around the fire to eat and socialise. When the restaurant was named, it was given the name Árran, which means fireplace in Northern Sami. Today, Árran is a gathering place for enjoying food, celebrating life with weddings and birthdays or the first turns on the slopes.
With ingredients from the North in general and Härjedalen in particular, classic dishes are prepared in a modern style. Relaxed, genuine, honest, simple, and environmentally conscious. Preferably in close cooperation with local producers such as Tännäs Bryggeri, Jillie Ren & Vilt, Bruksvallarnas Rökeri, a few pimplare and the odd hunting dog.
