As a consolidator, we are obliged to ensure that:
  • You will receive a written confirmation of your booking
  • Purchased services match the description
  • You will be informed of any significant changes to your booking
Other:

Due to events that are beyond our control as a consolidator, we have the right to relocate the tenant to an equivalent rental object. Where possible, we shall notify the guest/client of such changes before access and as soon as possible. Such changes do not entail any right for the guest to refrain from paying the agreed fees wholly or partially.

The accommodation price does not include bed linen, towels, cot/highchair unless otherwise stated on the confirmation. Nor refills of detergent tablets and toilet paper

Binding booking & Payment

Your booking becomes binding when you choose your payment method. Once you have paid your booking fee, or the full amount, you have accepted the terms of your booking. It is the guest's responsibility to check that all details provided at the time of booking are correct, including arrival and departure dates.

Payment

  • The booking fee, 20% of the amount, is to be paid directly at the time of booking.
  • The remaining 80 % is to be paid no later than 14 days before the day of arrival, except for major holidays, winter holidays and special events. During these periods, final payment is due no later than 45 days before the date of arrival.
  • *If you book later than 14 days in advance, the entire reservation must be paid immediately. For major holidays, winter holidays and special events, 45 days apply. In case of late payment of your booking, a reminder will be sent. In case of non-payment, reminder/debt collection measures will be taken

Cancellation

Cancellation must be in writing

You can cancel via email bokning@tannaskroket.se or by post to Tännäskröket, Karl Johans väg 1, 846 95 TÄNNÄS, always state your booking number. - No refunds will be made once your stay has started

At the time of booking, you can purchase cancellation and rebooking insurance for SEK 500 per accommodation to protect you against unforeseen events. The cancellation and rebooking insurance is purchased as an insurance, and is never refunded

Cancellation without cancellation protection
  • If you cancel more than 14 days before arrival, you will not have to pay more than the booking fee. During public holidays, sports holidays and special events, the cancellation period is 45 days.
  • If you cancel later than 14/45 days before arrival, we keep the full amount
  • No refund is given once the stay has started.
Cancellation with cancellation protection

You can add cancellation protection for SEK 500. Cancellation with cancellation protection, for major holidays see below:

  • For accommodation cancelled 14 or more days before arrival, we keep the cancellation insurance of SEK 500. Possible booking fee is non-refundable
  • For accommodation that is cancelled 14-0 days before arrival with a valid cancellation reason, which you can prove with a certificate, we keep the fee for the cancellation insurance and an administrative cost of 500 SEK. Possible booking fee is non-refundable
  • No refund is given once the stay has started.
Cancellation public holidays, winter holidays and special events with cancellation insurance:
  • For accommodation cancelled 45 days or more before arrival, we keep the cancellation insurance of 500 SEK. Possible booking fee is nonrefundable.
  • If you cancel 45-0 days before arrival with a valid cancellation reason, which you can prove with a certificate, we will keep the fee for the cancellation insurance and an administrative cost of 500 SEK. Possible booking fee is nonrefundable.
  • In case of cancellation on the same day as arrival, the cancellation must be made before 12.00
  • For accommodation that is cancelled 45-0 days without a valid reason for cancellation, we keep 100% of the accommodation cost
The cancellation insurance applies in the following cases, who must not have been known when you booked
  • Death, illness, or accident of a serious nature, affecting yourself, spouse, cohabitant, family
  • Drafting into the armed forces or civil defence
  • There is another serious event beyond your control that you could not foresee when you made your booking, and which means that it is not reasonable to ask you to stick to your booking, e.g. extensive fire, or flooding in your home.

You must be able to prove your impediment with valid certificates from e.g. doctors, authorities, or insurance company. The certificate must be received by us no later than 14 days after cancellation.

Cancellation of add-on products

Trail- and skipass

Can be cancelled free of charge until the day before the first day of validity. If you have started using your track or ski pass, the rules for cancellation apply at the start of your stay

Ski school, activities, rented equipment

Cancellation later than 24 hours before the start date, you will be charged according to the current price list. If there are fewer than two participants in our weekly courses in the ski school and activities, we have the right to cancel the course and you will then receive a full refund of the course fee

Departure cleaning & additional services

Can be cancelled up to the day before arrival at no extra charge.

Cancellation upon commencement of stay

Accommodation

If you need to cancel your stay, the paid accommodation cost will not be refunded.

Rented equipment

You pay for the number of days that you have used the equipment upon presentation of a medical certificate. Refunds are valid from the day the certificate from a doctor is issued and the equipment is returned.

Ski school/activities

In case of cancellation of already started ski school/activity, the remaining time will be refunded according to the current price list of the ski school/activity upon presentation of a medical certificate. Reimbursement is valid from the day the certificate from a doctor is issued.

Used trail & skipass

You pay for the number of days that you have used the trail button/skipass upon presentation of a medical certificate. Reimbursement applies from the day when the certificate from a doctor is issued and TKAB has been notified. A medical certificate and a track button/skipass must be handed in at the nearest point of sale.

Refund of skipass in the event of outage:
If the outage was caused by events beyond TKAB's control, such as power outages, excessive wind speed, fog and other comparable circumstances that TKAB could not count on when the lift pass was sold or whose consequences could not be avoided, the rules of the trade association SLAO apply.

Other obligations

  • A person of legal age (at least 18 years old) must be staying in our accommodations for the duration of the booked stay.
  • If your party will be more than you specified at the time of booking, it must be notified before arrival.
  • You must take good care of the housing and follow the rules, instructions and regulations that apply.
  • Between 21:00 and 08:00 you must observe the utmost consideration and silence towards other guests.
  • You are liable for all damage that occurs to the property and its inventory because of you or someone in your party being negligent.
  • You are obligated to follow the regulations regarding smoking and pet prohibition for your accommodation as stated in the confirmation Violation will result in a cleaning fee of 1500 SEK in addition to the regular cleaning charge.
  • You must clean your accommodation before your departure. About departure cleaning
    have not been pre-booked, you must carry out the cleaning according to the instructions given to you on arrival.
    Missed or poorly executed cleaning is assessed by TKAB and may result in a
    fee from 1100 - 3000 SEK depending on
    the size of the accommodation and the level of cleaning.
  • It is forbidden to charge electric cars at accommodations due to fire risk. This is done at designated charging stations. If this is violated, a fee of 5000 SEK will be charged
  • Rental - If the rented equipment is not returned after the rental period, rental fees will be charged up to the day the equipment is returned. In case of suspicion that the equipment is not intended to be returned, charges will always apply. The renter is responsible for ensuring that the rented equipment is returned in undamaged condition. Inspection of the equipment will take place upon return. We reserve the right to assess any damages and/or wear and any repair costs for addressing damages or wear beyond what can be considered normal will be charged at the time of return.

Defects and complaints

If we do not provide the rental property in the promised condition or at the correct time, and are unable to offer you a comparable alternative, you have the right to terminate the agreement and receive compensation with a deduction for what you have already used. Instead of terminating the agreement, you can request a reduction in rent.

If you have any complaints, you should address them to us as soon as possible, no later than 11:00 am the day after arrival. Any issues that arise during your stay should be reported immediately so that we have a chance to rectify them

You have the right to appoint someone else in your place, and we must accept that person unless we have specific reasons to refuse. In that case, you must notify us before the day of entry, and we will then charge a rebooking fee of 500 SEK

Dispute

Please contact us directly with any complaints Keep in mind that your chances of receiving a correction may decrease if you delay in complaining.

If we do not reach an agreement, you can turn to the General Complaints Board or a public court.

Force majeure

You and TKAB have the right to cancel the booking if the accommodation cannot be provided due to war, natural disasters, labour disputes, strikes, lockouts, fire, explosion, prolonged water interruptions, or other similar major events that neither you nor we could have foreseen or influenced

We reserve the right to legal changes, price adjustments, and printing errors beyond our control.

General terms and conditions for conferences, group bookings and other events

Binding booking & payment

Orders must be made in writing. You receive a written confirmation of your booking where purchased services match the description. You will be informed of significant changes regarding your booking.

When you confirm your booking for your group booking/event, you will make an advance payment.
For weddings: 20 000 SEK to secure your date.
For other events: 0 - 20 000 SEK to secure your date.
In connection with this, TKAB requires a summary of how many you will be as well as any special requests.

Payment

If the participants are to pay something separately, this must be notified to TKAB. You as the main booker is responsible for non-payment for guests included in your group booking/event.
If participants do not show up for ordered meals/meal, this does not entail a reduction of the price.

*Prepayment will be sent at the time of booking and must be paid within 10 days.
*Final invoicing takes place after departure and must be paid within 10 days.

In case of late payment, a reminder will be sent. In case of non-payment, reminder/debt collection measures will be taken.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be in writing

*Cancellation of the entire group booking/event can be made up to 6 months before arrival without charge.
*If cancelled less than 6 months before arrival, the prepayment is non-refundable.
*If cancelled with less than 3 months before arrival, 75% of the cost will be charged.
*In case of cancellation with less than 1 month before arrival, 100% of the cost will be charged.

An administration fee of 500 SEK per booking is always charged in the event of cancellation.
