Have you met our mascot Malte Muskoxe? Malte is a young musk ox who lives in the mountains Hemkröket and Mellankröket. Malte loves animals and nature and is a keen skier. To get away from the trolls who also live in the forest, he has made his own trails for skiing, snowmobiling, cycling and hiking, which he is happy to share with all children.Malte has his own sheep farm where the goats and rabbits live, and he likes to talk about his four-legged friends in the woods and give tips on being in nature. Malte loves music and has made his own song that you can often hear him humming. The song is available on Spotify and is called Maltes sång, by Malte Myskoxe.
Snow is fun!
Here we will have fun, try lots of things like alpine skiing and cross-country skiing on Malte's ski tracks. Try to find the treasure that Malte has hidden in the forest. During the Easter holidays we will do Easter crafts and have Easter fun.
Join Malte and experience a lot of fun and exciting things!
Maltese Ski School
The ski school for alpine skiing and snowboarding is available to book Monday - Friday.
It is also possible to book private lessons.
Fun activities
When your legs are tired, you can come along and feed the animals in Maltes Fäbodäboden, or drive a mini scooter/ quad bike. Or perhaps it's better to just rest in front of a fire to be fit enough to go sledding in the illuminated sledding hill.
You can find all the children's activities in the calendar.

Skidkul (4-6 years)
Level 1, 75 min.
A fun and positive introduction for those who are about to take their first steps on skis.
We focus on having as much fun as possible together and getting to know our equipment, the lift and the slope. We learn/practise sliding, braking, turning and adapting our speed in green terrain and riding the lift. Manage our skis with the help of games and mischief.
Prerequisites: No prior knowledge is required.
Explorers (7-11 years)
Level 1, 75 min.
Together we learn to become more confident in our skiing. We train/learn to ski more in parallel with control and have fun in blue terrain. We practise turns, balance, technique and skiing rules. The goal is to eventually get out on slightly steeper slopes with good control of the skis and speed.
Prerequisites: Be able to stop and turn with a plough in the children's slope and ski the button lift by yourself.
The adventurers (7-11 years)
